More than 5.000 years ago, one of the greatest civilizations in the world was established. But, what characterizes this ancient civilization besides its antiquity in the world? Unlike other peoples, China had no myths or legends about migrations from other territories, this fact riched a strong, impetuous and rooted state, which has lasted over time and developed great progress, including astronomy.
Ancient astronomers were great observers of the sky, they spent hours carefully contemplating the stars, scrutinizing the space to discover the secrets of the moon, which in Chinese mythology evokes a force of feminine character. As astronomers watched, they noticed celestial objects that roamed the skies. were called “wandering stars” since were not fixed in the firmament. They wandered, in that darkness and profound silence, like emigrants who take their traditions, identity and culture with them to other places.
From otherness, I observe that women with slanted eyes, and refined suits, with an
immeasurable delicacy, get used to the West establishing themselves modestly and unnoticed, far from their primordial roots. And as night falls, I contemplate how its reality transforms into splendor, like fireflies in the garden, sparkling, ephemeral, readily...
